How to gift jewellery without getting it wrong
There are three choices that usually go wrong, and one that never does. Here they are, in order.
The first thing that goes wrong is the ring. Gifting a ring without knowing the exact size is a gamble, and if the person hasn't mentioned it on purpose, it's because they don't want you to know. Adjustable rings solve the problem, which is why we include them in almost all our sets.
The second is colour. We tend to gift our own favourite colour, not theirs. Look at what they usually wear: if they never wear yellow, they're not about to start with a necklace.
The third is the earring fastening. A lot of people have nickel-sensitive lobes without knowing it, and they find out through a gift. All of ours are made in surgical steel, and it's worth mentioning that when you give one as a present.
The one thing that never goes wrong: a pair of small stud earrings. No sizing, nothing to match, they can be worn to work, and they suit any hair. If you're not sure, that's the answer.
