What to do if a petal breaks
It can almost always be repaired, and you almost never need to buy another. Message us before you throw it away.
First things first: keep the piece that came off, however small. With the original fragment the repair is invisible; without it, a new one has to be sculpted, and the colour never quite matches.
What can almost always be fixed: a petal that has come loose, a flower detached from its setting, a bent or broken earring hook, a necklace clasp. All of that can be repaired, and it usually takes a few days.
What has no good fix: a crushed flower. Once cured, polymer clay that's deformed doesn't go back to shape, and the whole flower needs to be remade.
And a warning we mean seriously: don't glue it yourself. Cyanoacrylate leaves a white haze on polymer clay that won't come off, and turns an easy repair into a lost piece.
